Royalties and fees
Both of our existing shows were commissioned by CWAGMS (Cannock Wood and Gentleshaw Muscial Society) who asked that a number of popular and well-known songs from the relevant period be included. In the scripts we offer our choices or recommended songs. The final choice of these is of course up to the director. As we understand it, songs included in shows on this basis should be included on the playlist for the theatre where they are performed and the relevant royalties can then be paid through their PRS licence.

If you would like to commission a new show, please contact us to discuss your ideas. However, as a guide, we charge approximately £500 for a new show. This includes the royalties for your show’s first run. We retain copyright for any show we write and we may offer it to other societies after
